Bora Studio -

Rating: 5 /5
Joanne Ive just finished my three introductory sessions and I have to say that my myths of pilates have been busted. This is an incredibly friendly and intimate studio with classes of 4 people. This means that you can engage with the instructors and they can ensure you are doing the movements safely and to your full potential. I had always been nervous about doing any pilates class, after years of having social media tell me its a cliquey hobby where you had to be super flexible or look a certain way. I was also worried about if i would even be able to do the exercises. Bora has proved this wrong for me, I felt so at ease there, even with my bad posture habits I never felt judged and was able to do all the exercises using the clear guidance from the team. This really is a lovely little studio. I hope I will be able to fit sessions in when I return to work, as I really feel this type of exercise is excellent for the mind, body and soul! Thank you Bora, you have unlocked a pilates girl in me!

Dougie Urban Easy place to park. Paying via My permit is a bit of a pain. But there are pay machines at the bottom which makes it alot easier. Fair for the price.

Sharaf Hijazin Finally, a reformer studio where you don’t have to choose between convenience, luxury, and location. I’ve tried almost every reformer studio in the area, and I stumbled upon this one a few weeks ago - what a difference. First, the class timings - which is probably one of the most important factors for me: there’s a class every single hour, which means I can pick a session on the day depending on work and life. At other studios, I always had to plan my schedule around limited time slots or specific instructors, and it made being consistent nearly impossible. Here, the flexibility has genuinely helped me keep at it. Second, the virtual-led classes: I wasn’t sure what to expect because this is such a new concept, but they’re actually one of my favourite features. The instructions are incredibly clear, consistent, and never dependent on an instructor’s mood or energy. It creates a calm, focused, no-judgment environment where I can just switch off and feel productive. Other studios in the area and tend to do a lot on marketing their instructors but when we actually come to the class, the instructors appear uninterested. Third, the studio itself and facilities: it’s modern, luxurious, spotless, and designed in a way that makes you disconnect from work and the outside world as soon as you step in. The people it attracts are kind and supportive, and it already feels like a little community. And finally, the location: our area desperately needed something like this. A clean, professional, reasonably priced reformer studio that’s local, accessible, and flexible enough to fit around real life - plus a place where you genuinely feel welcome. Couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you for opening here!

Kalindi Fonda Love this place. Tiny, but very relaxing. I use the spa side generally, and the facilities are very pleasant, the saunas both smell very nice, the temperatures appropriate as well. Lighting very pleasant, and giving special feel.
