5 /5 Georgia Steers: I’ve been doing Hyrox classes through SPC for a couple of months now and totally love it. I’ve been a regular runner and gym user for a long time but a few years back I went through treatment for breast cancer, with my running times never really getting back to where they previously were. I was starting to get frustrated as I was still doing the same training but not making any progress. So I started looking for something different to try. Then one Wednesday evening, I went along to the Hyrox class at SPC with my friend Laura. I was nervous (new girl at school vibes) but the group were really welcoming and the coach, Ruben, was brilliant. He was really motivating and spent time showing me the correct technique for exercises I hadn’t done before. Each week, Ruben leads a challenging but fun class! I’m gaining strength all over and last week ran the fastest 10k since my cancer diagnosis. 100% this is down to adding the Hyrox class into my training schedule. I highly recommend SPC, the class and coaches are brilliant, I’m finally seeing results again, and the Wednesday sessions have become my favourite training session of the week!
