Sunrise nails - (Near Surrey, UK)

5 /5 Lulu Forever: I usually get my BIAB done at a salon a bit further away, but they were fully booked this time, so after reading a few reviews I decided to try Sunrise Nails—and I’m really glad I did. I paid £35 to have my BIAB redone in this lovely brown almond shape. I booked a 9am appointment online and was finished by 9:50. You might think that sounds rushed, but the technician was simply very quick and efficient. He filed, polished, and had me out the door with a loyalty stamp before I even realised. I’d highly recommend them. They have a great range of colours and can do stunning nail designs, which I’ll definitely try next time. One thing to note: they don’t take card payments, so make sure to bring cash. I didn’t realise, but luckily I was able to leave my things, pop to a cash machine two minutes away, and come back to settle the bill without any fuss.

1 /5 Simone Mendonça: Been coming to Sunrise for about 7 years now. Unfortunately I dont think Ill be back. After a few negative experiences which I let slide thinking it was a bad day, service doesnt seem to be improving, meanwhile their prices are increasing... Website states theyre open til 7, booked my appointment at 6pm and was rushed out the door. A staff member called my mobile to ask me to come earlier as i had booked too late in the day, despite it being an hour in the day.. My fingers were bleeding at cut to shreds and the lady kept telling me im the last customer and Im a late appointment which made me feel unwelcome despite booking within their opening hours.. yet I rebooked today hoping for a better experience. My nails were unmatched despite me politely asking the man if he could correct the gradient balance in colour... not once, not twice, but 4 times i pointed out what i was unhappy with politely.. he assured me all the tips would be matching. They still are not. I was charged £45 for an uneven set of nails despite the price being different on their price list.. he was very rough with my hands pulling and tugging my fingers and my nail beds are so sore. My nails were burning while he was filing them. I left with sore fingers, uneven colours and lumps of acrylic under my nails. Really unhappy with the service. Most staff seem to be new as I dont recognise a lot of them but unfortunately Sunrise has gone far downhill.
