1 /5 Charlotte Thompson: I booked an appointment online on a bank holiday, as the booking platform was open. Before booking, I messaged the contact number twice but received no response. When I arrived, the salon was closed. The next day I went in person to avoid the same mistake and made an appointment for the following day at 10:00, letting them know I had a Wowcher.
Unfortunately, the staff member arrived 10 minutes late, and I then had to wait another 30 minutes for my voucher to be processed, as they didn’t know how to handle it. I explained that I needed to leave for work at 11:30, but while I tried to be understanding of their situation, they didn’t really acknowledge mine.
Once everything was finally sorted, the manicure and pedicure themselves were done very well I think. I was happy with the quality of the treatment. However, the stressful and time consuming experience beforehand completely ruined the relaxation aspect and whole experience. My time was wasted twice, so despite the good result, I won’t be returning.
