l andrew (Andrew) If you’re thinking of joining PureGym Aldershot, here’s a small word to the wise: if you train before 6 a.m., bring an anorak. Honestly, it’s colder than stalking penguins on a Bank Holiday weekend. That said, once you’ve stopped shivering and your fingertips have thawed, it’s a perfectly decent place to fling some weights about. The kit is modern, the layout is sensible, and there’s usually enough space to avoid an unexpected brush with someone else’s biceps. In short: great gym, cracking value, but the early-morning climate could double as a cryotherapy chamber. Bring layers, embrace the British grit, and consider the warm-up your first survival exercise of the day.

Jen Ridgers I have been to this Champneys many times and it never disappoints. The setting is beautiful and tranquil, and the drive up to the property is really lovely, it is set around a country house and on a large lake. The facilities are great, very clean, the pool area is particularly nice and my favourite thing is the outside jacuzzi. I have done a few classes, my favourite is Spin, great music and the instructor was awesome. The treatments are also very good, you go into a separate area and everything is luxurious and the service is excellent. I also particularly rate the food, the lunches are served as a buffet style and everything has always been top notch. Highly recommend this venue.

Jessica Adams There’s no gym quite like it. The standards are exceptional. The staff go above and beyond - the level of the fitness classes is like no other, the equipment is of a high standard, it is evident they are always reinvesting in the gym, along with the gym always being clean and accessible to use. Most importantly, the community built by the staff and members is something you won’t find anywhere else, it is the most supportive environment you could possibly be a part of. Down to every detail, it is clear that fusion put their members above anything else. They cater for absolutely everybody.
