1 /5 Lyra: Arrived on time for my pre booked appointment, was told to go for a walk and come back when they were ready. When eventually seen for waxing, the wax pot had only recently been turned on, wax was subsequently too hot but not fully melted and the person providing the service was blowing on the wax once on the spatula to cool it down before applying. Noticed later on in the appointment that the same spatula was used multiple times to apply wax. Another member of staff interrupted my appointment requesting the waxer to leave the room I was in for a moment, when doing this I was not prepared, not decent, laying facing the door which could be seen from the entrance of reception. The quality of the waxing was poor, I was left with a lot of hairs that could have been waxed off but were missed and I also developed folliculitis.
The room that the treatment was provided in wasn’t as clean as I’d expected, not necessarily dirty but could have done with dusting and freshening up.
The only positive I have from the whole experience is that the individual providing the service was friendly.
As for everything else I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend, the service also wasn’t cheap.
