1 /5 Paulina Carrion: Not Recommended! Not even one star.
Very disappointing customer service.
I visited this salon a week ago to get my nails done and left genuinely happy with the result — I even left a tip for the good service at the time. However, one of my nails broke clearly at the extension, so I returned today to ask for a simple repair.
To my surprise, I was told I had to pay £4 because I hadn’t informed them within 24 hours from the moment the nail broke. I was completely honest and explained that it broke on Friday and today was the first day I was able to come. They insisted that I should have notified them exactly when it happened, even though this policy was never mentioned to me, despite it being my first visit and despite them knowing I had just arrived in London.
What frustrated me the most is that they didn’t even take a proper look at the nail to check the condition or understand why it had broken. In Spain, salons always examine the nail and repair it when it’s clearly a break in the extension. Here, they didn’t show any willingness to help. I was even made to understand that if I had lied and said it broke today, they would have fixed it — which says a lot about how unfair the policy is.
I paid ÂŁ60 for my nails, and being asked to pay extra without even checking the issue is unacceptable. The experience was very disappointing, and I cannot recommend this salon due to the lack of transparency and the poor customer service. The photo clearly shows where the extension snapped, yet they refused to take responsibility.
