1 /5 Stefanie Usher: I went to Radiance for a Hollywood wax. Angie was very friendly and comforting but gave me the worst wax I have ever had in 10 years of being waxed! She double dipped the spatula which is a big NO in intimate waxing, she assured me that she uses fresh wax for each client but even if that were true (which I doubt as it would result in a lot of waste) we all know that infection can occur from passing bacteria from the back to the front and I left feeling dirty. What is far worse than this (and I didnt realise till I got home) is that she has actually ripped the skin off!! I have torn skin around my bikini line and significant flaking in other areas, it is extremely uncomfortable to wear underwear even 5 days after the wax. I do not have sensitive skin and have NEVER had a reaction like this! I have contacted Angie with pictures to show the damage she caused to my bikini area, her response was that because I had stubborn hair she had to go over it several times. This is not a justified reason and I have never had this from any other therapist, I suspect the real reason was because she used cheap wax. She didnt offer me a refund, just a half hearted apology and I am left with the a very scabby intimate area which I hope doesnt become infected (this morning I felt the beginnings of a UTI on top of all this!)! On top of this there is still a lot of stray hairs that werent removed and many that were snapped off instead of being pulled out so are already growing back. AVOID FOR INTIMATE WAXING IF YOU LIKE YOUR SKIN!!
