1 /5 Rachel Bridge: Ive been a few times and for a while they had a really good wax therapist, but they treated her so badly she left. The other wax specialists are awful. They have burned and ripped my skin, left me bleeding and bvruised, and have the worst waxing hygiene ever.
One of them broke her gloves but didnt change them. She never cleaned or prepped the skin, used the wrong type of wax for intimate areas, and had an awful techniqiue. I emailed to complain and never heard back. I tried another therapist and she was a little better, but my skin was still ripped, burned, bruised and bleeding.
I can get really bad sciatica and have a shoulder injury which means it can be difficult to move, but even after repeatedly reminding them about it, they still pulled and leaned on my body rather than finding a way to accommodate, which has exacerbated my injuries and pain.
I will never be going back, because having raised the issues during treatments and to management, nothing changes and they dont take hygiene, safety, or comfort seriously. I get that waxing can be painful, but it should never remove multiple layers of skin, cause bleeding or bruising, and should absolutely at no point burn you.
Avoid at all costs, the discounts are there for a reason, there is zero professionalism from the remaining wax therapists. I genuinely question whether theyve had any proper training given their lack of technique or care.
