1 /5 Kay: Horrible manicure. The lady put a base coat, 3 layers of nail polish and 2 of a top coat that was so old and thick the strings were forming whenever she was taking the brush out of the bottle and it was bubbling on my nails. After she finished, she saw herself what a bad job she did and offered me a complimentary file and paint (?!?) next time I come in, because as she put it: she’s not very good at doing mani with bright nail polishes. She could have said that before she started. It was a Friday. I was going out that night. I had no time left to go to a different place to fix the nails. The nail polish shrunk under 2 layers of top coat, chipped and finally peeled off almost completely after 3 hours due to the fact there were literally 6 layers on my nails. I also would like to mention that the salon did not have a proper mani table I was sitting on a stool by a coffee table that I couldn’t put my elbows on. The salon is also quite filthy and messy. Shame , it is in such a good location for me and has a pretty name, but it definitely doesn’t live up to the beauty of the name.
