Beat Fitness Co - Middle Aston

Rating: 5 /5
Nigel Conway Beat is amazing. Thanks to guidance and support alongside fabulous gym, engine room and recovery sessions, I feel great. Plus my visceral fat is down, toned up and have my spark back. Even considering some sporty adventures next year. Thanks everyone.

Aikido Oxford Koushinkan - Lake St

Rating: 5 /5
Carl Mahon I am a new student, I just started in January. Everyone in the club has been very welcoming and friendly. They make it easy to get started learning something that could otherwise be very intimidating. All of the instructors and upper level students really know their stuff, and even better all of them are great teachers.

FIT 2 FIGHT BACK - KRAV MAGA - Headington

Rating: 5 /5
Anna Zubek A few years back I was looking for a self defence class for my then 12 years old daughter. We came for a taster session and got hooked immediately. Edmund and Alicia are brilliant teachers who make you feel welcome and cared for. They create fun and supportive environment in which it is easy to learn no matter what your age and level of fitness, which is particularly important to me as a mother. Currently we train with Dave, who continues this tradition in his own brilliant, kind-hearted style. The training is focused on practical skills and techniques, which you may find useful in a street fight situation. It’s a fantastic self-defence school which I highly recommend.

Atado Ju Jitsu Club Oxford - Lake St

Rating: 5 /5
T3KT0N1K Ive tried several different martial arts classes in several different regions of the UK over the past couple of decades, including Krav Maga, Karate and Aikido. Sensei David Rogers Atado Ju Jitsu is by far the best. This class is warm, friendly and welcome to all. Sensei Rogers and one or two of the other black belts he has trained, have real world experience of its use. As such, his syllabus is comprised of practical techniques, mostly based in Atado Ju Jitsu of course, but also borrowing from other martial arts, where those techniques have been found to be effective. Theres no fluff here. Sensei Rogers is also an intelligent and highly articulate teacher who is excellent at observing each student and instantly being able to convey to them, areas where they excel, as well as areas they can improve in, resulting in smooth progression through training, no matter their experience level. You will learn what works and what doesnt, when you should and shouldnt use what you learn and how it doesnt matter how big how old you are, you can keep fit and learn self defence that works for you. I cannot recommend this calls enough!

Oxford Boxing Academy -

Rating: 4.5 /5
Simon Alderwick Amazing gym, well laid out with a good mix of bags and enough space that it never feels crowded. The sessions are well planned and run on a lazer tight schedule so you get an incredible workout whilst improving your boxing skills. Clear and fair pricing and Faz as a coach is very amiable, down to earth and jovial. He clearly has a passion for coaching. All members are friendly and welcoming. All this means the sessions have a great atmosphere. Overall a fantastic club for fitness and wellbeing and of course learning or improving the noble art under an expert coach.
