5 /5 Alex: Decent gym with friendly staff. - Cleanliness is good or excellent. - Staff are friendly and helpful. - The facilities are good. - Gym could do with another leg extension machine - it’s literally always in use. But in general the machines are good. - could also do with an abdominal machine…there isn’t one, yet there is the space. - Broken equipment is fixed quickly - almost everything works almost all the time. - members are friendly. - Poolside is excellent and sauna and steam are good. - changing rooms are clean and always have shower gel etc. - Pity they permanently closed the jacuzzi but this is my only gripe. You can tell the team at Guildford are engage with their work and genuinely like working here. The manager must be doing a good job and cares about their gym. I have written this review because I’m amazed of different experience there can be between gyms within the same group. Guildford is a huge contrast to the other branch I use, Wandsworth Southside (a higher tier), which is run appallingly. About 30% of its equipment is broken, it’s filthy (and I mean gross) and the staff although friendly and completely rudderless and the manager should be dismissed. Thank you to the team at Guildford - you make the Nuffield experience top rated. :-)

1 /5 Stanislav Stoyanov: Nuffield Health Guildford Fitness & Wellbeing Gym I had a deeply frustrating experience with Nuffield Health Guildford, and I strongly advise others to think twice before joining. I attempted to cancel my membership verbally with the receptionist, but I was not provided with any written confirmation or proof of cancellation. Now, they’re demanding an additional £94 for a period when I wasn’t even using the gym, which feels unfair and poorly handled. The lack of clear communication and documentation around the cancellation process is unacceptable for a gym of this price point. On top of that, the gym itself is disappointing for the cost. The equipment is outdated and often in poor condition, with limited space that makes workouts feel cramped and inconvenient. For the premium membership fees they charge, you’d expect modern, well-maintained machines and a spacious environment, but that’s not the case here. Overall, the combination of subpar facilities and terrible customer service has made this a regrettable experience. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a gym that values its members and delivers on quality.

5 /5 Tomas Kollinsky: As a new user following knee surgery, I am delighted with Nuffield people I have met, the environment as a whole and the facilities for fitness and exercise. The 20 metre swimming pool is especially appealing - perfect temperature and all-round depth. It’s never too busy and one is able to get the full benefit without any issues. Highly recommended!!
