5 /5 Julian Ponce: I’ve just joined having sustained a running injury and used the gym for the first time today. I can say it’s a brilliant gym and was quiet at 830am so I didn’t have to wait to use any equipment. There’s a big range of cardio and weights. People here seem to want to just get on with their workout, and it’s not at all pretentious like other gyms I’ve used. The pool is decent and there’s a lovely sauna and steam room which look quite new. The building has been described as ‘old’ in some reviews, possibly because it was built in the 1800s, so this is expected surely? How refreshing to find a leisure centre set in beautiful grounds and with stained glass windows. Despite others saying it lacks cleanliness, I didn’t find this was the case. In my view, the price is much more reasonable than others I’ve looked at and there is a village / community feel, which is much more welcoming than some newer gyms which lack any character. On signing up for membership, I was warmly welcomed and in my view received a level of customer service which is highly unusual for London. There was no pushy sales either. I was very impressed and it was a no brainer for me to part with £89 per month including blue light discount. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 /5 Damian McCarthy: I have been a member for several years and I am happy to say it is a great place to go to. I am always welcomed with a cheery and genuine hello. All of the staff from cleaners to maintenance to front of house to management are superb. The facilities are good and well kept. But most of all it is a very calm and relaxing place and this has to be how it is being run. The good and positive way management lead permeates down and through the club. I have been a member of a rival gym close by which costs more and has more but does not come close to the overall high rating I hold for Nuffield Friern Barnet. A big big up to you all and thank you. Keep up the great work.

The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and Natalia the duty manager is always so welcoming and helpful whenever I need any help. This helps to create a friendly atmosphere that makes coming in feel easy and motivating. Joining this gym has been such a great decision. The facilities are always spotless and well looked after, with everything you need for a great workout. Keep up the good work!

2 /5 Ekin Zorel: This place has so much potential. Beautiful historic building, high ornate ceilings, stained decorated glass windows. But with spider webs rivalling the size of halloween decorations, tired rusty equipment, and the general lack of attention and care for the weightlifting section, this place is a 4 out of 10 max, especially considering the lacking cleanliness and the price point of a premium gym. Yes there are nice pool, sauna and steam room facilities, but everything looking like they are from 2005 really does not help. With the half busted Wi-Fi and many issues that I tried to raise still not being addressed properly, I cannot recommend this gym. Convenience is the only drive for me, as it is a 4 minute walk from my flat. Wish Nuffield paid more attention to the place.
