1 /5 Sarah H: Extremely unprofessional massage - they didn’t ask what I wanted, there’s not even a proper massage bed, they didn’t even shut the door during the session so I could hear everything that was being said from the salon. They didn’t even have any towels, the woman claimed it’s because of covid, but that makes no sense, because she handed me a blanket off of the side instead, how is this any more covid friendly? You can wash towels or have a sealed disposable one which I’ve seen in many other massage studios.
The woman doing the massage is very clearly not trained, it felt like when you ask a friend to out suncream on your back at the beach, not a massage. I booked a back massage and said I wanted to focus on the knots. Initially she said okay but after about 10 minutes she said she won’t..? She took no direction when I asked her to adjust the pressure. I ended up stopping the massage early because it was so bad. Despite this they still asked me to pay? Any respectable business would not ask this knowing that they didn’t deliver the service, standard decency.
In the end I went to another place a minute away and received the opposite experience, from Cocolas, where they immediately asked me what I was wanted to get out of the session. They had a proper professional massage room with a real massage bed and throughout the session checked how it was was.
This place needs to get some proper training and invest in proper equipment instead of pretending to offer a legit massage. What a scam.
