I always go early in the morning, and the team has even given me the nickname “Early Lady” — how sweet is that? From the moment you walk in, the customer service is warm, welcoming, and professional. I started to do my nails at New York Nails in October 2024 when I moved to the area, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with their service. Their acrylic gel manicures are consistently flawless, beautifully shaped, long-lasting, and finished with so much care and attention to detail. The one on the photo is over two weeks old and still great. Hannah and the ladies at the salon are great and make you feel very looked after. If you’re new to Chingford or simply looking for a great manicure at the best value in the area, I highly recommend giving New York Nails a try. You will not be disappointed.

1 /5 Jotika Dhanjal: Absolutely terrible. The nail technician was so rough and didn’t spend enough time to shape the nails properly. The nails are so thick and uneven. When I complained she was very rude and started laughing with her colleague. She accused me of not knowing what I wanted and started talking like I didn’t know what I was doing there. The nail varnish is so untidy. I wanted to get the nails done for a wedding abroad and I am so unhappy I want to cry. I’ll never go there again.

1 /5 MS: I wouldnt come here again. I asked for biab infill and the lady removed all of the biab, but it was the way she did it. She used an aggressive electric file to remove all the product on my nail, which was harsh on my nail bed and also caused part of my middle nail to chip and break off, compromising the shape of nail that I wanted. In the middle of cutting my cuticles she made me swap with someone else as they were having difficulty understanding the nail tech they were designated to, highly unprofessional. When i came into the shop i showed my design and they said they could do it, they could not, they did not execute it correctly that I ended up leaving with a whole different design. what had frustrated me about this experience was the fact that they collected money from me before applying a new biab coat, leaving me confident that they could do my nails properly. they took my money before completing the job that they werent even good at, i ended up with french tips that was much cheaper than what i paid for, they did give me the difference back in cash though. If i could rate this place zero i would. It was also so obvious that they were making fun of one of their clients. Never again.

5 /5 Alice Bee: I have been attending New York Nails since summer last year. I have always been happy with the service they provide. There’s loads of choice on colours/glitters. The Ladies are always polite and I’m always asked if i would like Tea/Coffee whilst there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
