Victoria, the nail technician, carried out my shellac treatment, and everything was done to the highest standard. She is incredibly attentive to detail, precise, and thoroughly professional. What impressed me the most was the proper sterilisation of tools — something many salons in London unfortunately overlook, so this level of care truly inspired trust and confidence. The finish turned out perfect: an even colour, a smooth surface, and a beautiful shine. I left the appointment extremely satisfied and will definitely be returning.

5 /5 Olga Bradfield: I visited LY Beauty in Kensington again today and, as always, I’m extremely happy with the result. I come specifically to Lali because she is a true professional. Her highlighting technique is outstanding — even other stylists have commented on how precise and beautifully done my highlights were. The salon has a warm, friendly atmosphere, with very welcoming staff who always offer tea or coffee and make the time fly by. Great location, very close to the underground station and easy to reach even if you’re travelling from outside London. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Saghar dehghani: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been getting my nails done with Bahar for a while now and she is truly the best! Her work is always neat, stylish, and long-lasting. She’s very detail-oriented and precise – I never have to worry or give reminders because she notices everything herself. On top of that, she’s so friendly and makes the whole experience really relaxing. Honestly, Bahar is the best nail technician I’ve ever been to, and I highly recommend her if you want beautiful nails every single time!

1 /5 Subé Wallén: Despite the great reviews, my experience was disappointing. I had a manicure and pedicure. While the pedicure initially seemed fine, the manicure was poorly done. One nail had the polish flake off the same day, the gel was bumpy and over-thick, and the gel caused one nail to throb and pound. The majority of the cuticles were swollen, especially the thumb cuticle, which was over-cut and bleeding. The pain was bad enough that I had to take painkillers later on the day. I contacted the venue the same day regarding the throbbing nail, but I didn’t make it in before closing. Due to the holidays, the venue was then closed, so I went to another venue the day after to have the material removed and redone. Once the gel was removed, the pain was significantly reduced. The technician there confirmed my cuticles were over-cut, damaged and that the gel wasn’t applied properly or cured enough. While the staff were kind, when you’re charging at the higher end of pricing, the service should reflect that. Maybe this was a one-off, but I won’t be returning. Update: Upon closer inspection, the pedicure shows pocket lifting in the center of especially the big toe nails. Meaning the pedicure gellack also have to be removed and redone. Feedback: Please improve quality control, cuticle care, and correct gel thickness and curing, especially given the price point.
