1 /5 Nicole Li: First time at this salon and only because I was in the area and they’re open on a Sunday…I got a BIAB manicure and firstly, the lady was SO rough on my cuticles and filing my nails, she actually cut one of cuticles and made me bleed as well as continue to be rough on another after I mentioned that I stubbed and cut it a few days a go, really not relaxing. She did apologise but doesn’t really change the fact that I was already bleeding…
I also question the general hygiene, tools used didn’t seem to be disinfected; did not disinfect before use and just put back in the pot after she was done. Especially since she had made me bleed and actually just general hygiene of shared tools, I thought more care would be taken.
I was going to not bother with this review since I just won’t return, but it’s been 1.5 days and two nails’ gel has just come off…I’ve never had this before with BIAB as it normally lasts for weeks. Considering I paid £40 and just general gel/BIAB average last times, this is pathetic. I’d like to think that perhaps if I lived round the area, I could get them redone for free, but I think I’m just going to have to pay extra for somewhere near me to sort.
Honestly would’ve been better off saving the £££ and doing them myself!
