I loved the atmosphere when I first stepped in and my facialist Alex was super welcoming and friendly! She knew a lot about skincare and it’s ingredients and even helped my develop my personal routine. The results speak for itself after a few weeks my skin was healthier than ever before. Exceeded all my expectations and excited to come back here tomorrow!

5 /5 Aurélie: I went to Gaia as I was looking for a vegan hair salon to help me with a tricky transition colour-wise. I first had a consultation with Alex, the owner, who helped me find the best solution for my problem - I loved the sound advice and the fact that Alex never came across as pushy, imposing or trying to sell me an expensive service that I didnt need (Ive had that before at other salons). On the day of my colour and treatment, I received an amazing service. The atmosphere in the salon is great, and everyone is really friendly. My colour and treatment came out so well, I am really happy! My hair feels healthier, shinier and looks great. I never knew plant colours could achieve such depth and brightness. I will definitely be back (and will join some of the workshops the salon is running in the meantime - well worth looking at).

1 /5 Sabeena Hyderabad: I had come in to your salon on Saturday for root touch up and facial. To be honest, I am highly disappointed with the output i had with the root touch up, you said the color would start showing in 2 days and it havent yet. Also I had lot of henna residue on my scalp and lumps which were not properly washed in the salon. I know it wouldnt give complete black coverage but it has made my hair dry and frizzy and most of them are still white. I am unsure of the ingredients used but based on my experience I could say it was mere henna and nothing else and charging 65£ is too expensive for the output and result it gave me. We all belong to working class so we need to be cautious about the services we charge and made sure they have the expected output. Similarly the facial did not make any difference and rather gave me redness for 2 days. You advised not to have hair wash for 2 days but as i scratch my scalp i can see the residue stuck in my nail and thats so evident that it hasnt been washed properly. Please do not guarantee if you are unsure of the result. We would not pay so much amount for just henna application with no result. It has wasted my money and time both. I am aware of what henna does, but you assured me that its a mixture and that would give color to my hair but as i was suspecting it did not and I am so much disappointed with the service that we ended up with nothing. We travelled so far, we had to wait so much for the services to get completed but highly disappointed.

5 /5 Victoria Shilliday: I bought some products as I wanted to improve the condition of my hair and also wanted to use more natural henna dye. I had previously used henna from Amazon but my hair just turned orange! Alex took the time to ask many questions about my hair and scalp to tailor the best products for my needs. The henna this time has given me a much more natural colour which I love. I haven’t used all products yet but my favourite is the hair mask. It was quite expensive but the results have been fantastic, reduced frizz and really nourished the condition of the hair. I really recommend the salon. I should note that all consultations were remote as I am based in Belfast but next time I am in london I will visit in person as the service and quality of products have been fantastic
