1 /5 Peter R.: My initial course of treatment proved problematic. Four days before embarking on an extended holiday, I underwent Botox injections in three areas: two on my forehead and one to address the laughter lines around my eyes. While the first two areas were treated without incident, the third, aimed at the laughter lines, inadvertently punctured a vein. As a result, I developed a black eye, which persisted for over two weeks. The bruise took nearly five weeks to fully fade. During my holiday, friends inquired about the discoloration when they saw the photos, and I became extremely self-conscious about it, particularly during the early stages of my trip. This experience was far from ideal.
