1 /5 Asha Sereno: I had a terrible experience at this salon. I got a standard spa pedicure with regular polish for £38 on Friday, but by the time I got home, my nails were smudged—despite specifically asking if they were completely dry before putting on socks and trainers.
I returned today to have them fixed. The technician repainted the three smudged toes, and I sat under the dryer for about 45 minutes. When I asked if they were dry, the staff assured me they were. However, upon checking, I told them they still felt tacky and were badly painted. The technician insisted they were dry and told me, “There’s oil on them, so don’t touch.” This advice made no sense, as I had to put my shoes on to leave.
I explained that if my nails smudged again, I would need to return and would expect a refund. The technician rudely refused, saying, “No.” Surely, if a customer is unsatisfied with the service, they are entitled to a refund?
This salon does not take responsibility for ensuring nails are properly dried before customers leave. I won’t be returning and would not recommend them.
