1 /5 O D (Just Debbz): I wish I had read the bad reviews prior to visiting this place. Nevertheless, its definitely the first and last time I will visit.
I decided to visit this shop as it is literally across the road from my work office and having read good reviews, I decided to give them a go.
Being the person that I am and in my line of work, professionalism, great candidate experience (in this case good customer service) and efficiency are of utmost importance to me. So long as I receive good service and satisfied overall, the price of something wouldnt be an issue. However, paying for poor service is diabolical.
I arrived for my appt and was met by a lovely, friendly young girl. She enquired on what I wanted and I explained that Id booked a pedicure and a BIAB infill. She took me to the back and I was Initially impressed because 3 staff were attending to me (two on either side removing my BIAB and the friendly girl doing my pedicure) which was good as I was tired from work and concerned that i would be there till late.
The pedicure was the worst ive ever had. The water didnt have anything in it that youd expect when getting a pedicure - it was just water. The girl used the usual flat grater to work on the soles of my feet, no blade to remove dead skin etc, a quick 2/3 mins massage and that was it. I instantly starting missing the woman that usually does my pedicures as what I received was a joke! I feel bad speaking poorly about the pedicure as out of all the staff, the girl was the most friendliest out of them all.
Now to the guy with blond hair, absolutely rude/arrogant. I tried making small talk with him and received nothing. His aura was moody, completely off, hardly smiled. One positive is that he did a good job with my BIAB. However, when it was time to pay and I questioned the price from ÂŁ75 to ÂŁ78, it was his response that got to me. He was abrupt, loud, unprofessional and even began speaking in his language which is so rude!!! A big "no no". Theyve definitely lost a good paying customer as if things had been different, I would have made that shop my go to place but i would NEVER visit there again! I couldnt justify paying what I did for what I received. Sadly, my colleagues who were keen to hear my experience to then book their own appointment have decided not to and to remain with their local shop.
Word of advice - treat everyone as you would want others to treat you. Its that simple.
