5 /5 Tom Littler: Been training BJJ at bloodline for a month or two now. I travel quite a bit so have trained at a few gyms, but Bloodline is my gym in East.
The quality of the instruction is very high. Luke, the main coach, is exceptional. He offers small pointers that you can quickly implement to up your game, as well as noticing consistent patterns that are holding you back. He is attentive, sincere, and clearly takes pride in his work.
Everyone who rolls their is super friendly. It does lean towards junior belts, for me thats perfect but if you are a weapon, just something to bear in mind. I wouldnt say the instruction is basic though, weve drilled stuff that Ive seen in advanced classes in other gyms.
The facilities are top tier, probably the best Ive seen at a BJJ gym. You have a small gym so you can do some mobility/strength work before or after a session, the matts are big enough so the classes never feel crowded, there is also a sauna and cold plunge Im yet to use. Everything is super clean which should go without saying for a martial arts gym, but its not always the case..
Overall, Id highly recommend bloodline if you are interested in practising BJJ, especially as a beginner or someone newer to the sport. The price is fair, you can train everyday, and the instruction and facilities are great. I cant comment on the other martial arts offered, but from what Ive seen they look well run also.
