I had a LA Weave fitted by Madeleine, and within 3 days it was already falling out. Shortly afterwards, the weave completely came out. This is absolutely unacceptable for a service that should last weeks and clearly demonstrates a lack of proper skill and care.
I attempted to resolve this directly with Madeleine. She repeatedly ignored my calls and messages. When she eventually responded, she stated she could “fix it,” but only after 3 weeks – by which time the hair was already unusable. I then requested a refund, which she agreed to, but 13 days later no refund has been issued.
This is not only appalling customer service but also a breach of consumer rights, as she has taken payment for a service that was not fit for purpose and then failed to provide the agreed refund.
I have screenshots of our communication and photographs of my hair as evidence of the poor workmanship and her failure to provide aftercare.
Madeleine’s conduct has been unprofessional, evasive, and wholly unacceptable. I will be pursuing this matter further through the relevant channels (including Trading Standards and small claims court if necessary).
I strongly advise anyone considering booking with Madeleine to avoid at all costs.
