1 /5 Anto H: ⭐ 1 star I’m very disappointed with the service and customer care at Adara Beauty Lounge (Centrale, Croydon). I went in on a Saturday to have my nails cleaned and redone with gel. The manager briefly applied a nail cleaner and left me waiting far longer than usual. The whole process was done manually — no electric tools were used apart from the curing lamp — and it took nearly an hour, in an open, cold area. At first, my nails looked just okay, but within days the polish started lifting, and air got under the surface, making the tips lighter. By Thursday, one nail had already chipped, even though I do not do manual work. When I returned the following Saturday, the manager only offered to fix two nails and refused a refund or proper repair, claiming she only does fixes within three days — completely unreasonable for £38 gel nails meant to last 3–4 weeks. No apology, no care, and no accountability. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this salon.

1 /5 Grace M: If i could give 0 stars i would. I visited here to have shellac on my nails . Unfortunately I was not happy on this occasion and I would not recommend this place. The lady was cutting my cuticles so far back it was hurting . For this reason I no longer wanted shellac to avoid infection and irritation so I said il just have a manicure no nail polish . I asked her " is it good to cut the cuticles so far back?," she said " yes its dead skin", im at home and my fingers are still hurting. Ive got a second opinion from someone else and they agree they have been cut too far back. When I told her I dont want polish anymore she said its only £8 less for manicure, Then she started talking to her colleague in their language and she said the word manicure and started laughing. At this point I knew they were talking about me because I had just said il just have a manicure. My nails are really short so maybe thats why they were laughing as if to say why would I want a manicure?. I feel so silly because I paid £22 instead of £12! Because she said £12 is just to shape your nails?, and I was given what they call a "spa manicure" . I wasnt given the option and I walked away feeling silly that I just paid £22 for a service I wasnt happy with . I wouldnt recommend you go here at all . I even said while she was doing my nails , " does it get busy here?" She said " yes especially at night but lots of people refuse to pay?!". I was not shocked particularly as the service you recieve is not good its way to expensive. I should have asked for a manager but instead I paid and was polite and went about my day. I would like a refund. Im not happy. If I get a infection now I will be taking it further.

1 /5 L: AVOID if you want good quality, i wish i could have a refund. I had 3 treatments, henna brows, biab manicure & spa pedicure.The ladies were lovely but unfortunately the services were very low quality and not worth the price. I am very disappointed. The henna brows were so bad and put on thick and wonky. I specifically said the therapist can decide the shape as long as both brows were SYMMETRICAL. Unfortunately they were very wonky and very long and not matching.I was told it would last for a few weeks-month, even after i had a patch test 24 hours before, i had a reaction and the henna only lasted LESS than 3 days. Not worth the money at all. The nails looked okay at first but after a few days look bulky and were not shaped properly. i get biab often and this wasn’t biab… you can see in the picture how badly the gel was put on. I spent over £100 on the treatments and did not feel the quality reflected the price. I would avoid this place if you want your money’s worth. It was when i got home i realised how bad the treatments were. you can get better quality for less.
