24/7 Fitness Fareham Gym - (Near , UK)

5 /5 Holly: Been a member less then a year and wouldnt go anywhere else! Always upgrading and adding new equipment. The owner and PTs are very welcoming, always around for any advice/help. Womens area is under expansion and they are adding more equipment! The suggestion box is always being answered, very clean and well looked after gym. So much equipment you dont have to wait around for machines. Few pictures of the new equipment thats recently been added.

1 /5 dave: Not really sure where to start but as you drive in you can tell they dont take pride in the look of the place as it looks somewhat run down in places. Once inside the large mens changing room you are presented with quite a few lockers, that said most are broken so cant be locked and others are permanently locked. The changing room is filthy though have to say never smells bad. I dont think the tops of the shower screens have been cleaned in years and I find it quite funny the nobody has taken up the arrows from the floor put down in Covid. Im not a fan of the female cleaners who walk in without any warning, really not sure how they get away with it. The place has to be cleaned (though making a floor wet with a mop is not cleaning) and I can work around that but Im not happy changing g and showering with females present. The floor needs a scrubber and the whole place needs a deep clean. I try not the use the loos as they always stink. The gym equipment itself most of which dates back to the old Fitness First days is knocking on a bit with very few new pieces being added. I suppose if you just go for free weights thats not an issue though to be fair. The machines, whats left of them as they get less and less all the time are (if you look closely) also filthy in all the little nooks and crannies and nothing that a toothbrush size brush would not resolve. Again to be balanced I have staff wiping them over which is good but the place is just grubby. So I guess in summery while the place was Cheap I could grit my teeth and put up with it, they are not cheap any more compared to some other local gyms. If its local and you dont mind a spit and sawdust dirty gym then go and have a look. My point is they dont spend money on the place unless they have to and it shows, its dirty, I dont know if the place actually has a manager and Im not overlay impressed with the staff. I dont think I all my time one has ever spoken to me. I will not renew my membership when its due and to be honest cant wait for it to end. All the above said if your interested in joining go and have a look, park you car in the muddy flooded (when it rains car park and give the bell a ring. Im sure they would give you a walk around if you asked. I would not give them any money though thats for sure.

5 /5 Tony and Julie Knipe: Have started using 24 7 fareham recently as I only live in the next road and always looked to join, went on a Sunday and was shown around , informative and friendly staff always on hand here. Have only encountered friendly other gym members here and would recommend anyone thinking to take the plunge and join up. For the monthly cost you cannot go wrong really with other gyms in fareham and port solent being x3, x4 the cost. I find it difficult to critic the gym really for the cost and being an early bird and always in at 5am at weekends and really enjoy the place so give it a go come along and see for yourself, youll feel better for it. 1 /5 Broggan Paul “Broggie”: Would have been higher but the new rule on being unable to gain entry for a period of time is stupid. The music is always too loud. Even if you use noise cancelling headphones you can still hear it. If you love house music great but if not then get use to hearing it full blast 24/7. There’s speakers in every corner so you’re trapped.

5 /5 Lyndsey Gardner: I used to be a member here a couple of years ago and recently rejoined. The ladies gym upstairs is much better now, more equipment and more space so brilliant if the main gym downstairs is too busy or Im not feeling particularly confident. Today I had the whole thing to myself, it was great!
