1 /5 Sophie Boddington: I dont like to write negative reviews, as a rule, but unfortunately this was such a disappointing and quite upsetting experience that I would like to help others avoid if I can, and to flag my experience with the team so that it can be rectified for future customers. I booked a gel manicure (admittedly, this was quite last minute, as I booked on the morning of), but was still made to wait 20 minutes for my appointment with no apology or acknowledgement. The nail tech then hacked at my cuticles so badly that she made 2 of my fingers bleed (see photos). She didnt even put any antiseptic on the cuts, just a quick dab with a tissue. I wished I had pushed back and ended the treatment there, but her manner was so aggressive that I didnt feel comfortable stopping halfway through. My fingers are now very sore and I am left feeling pretty upset by the experience. I will not be returning as I do not think it is safe or sanitary to leave peoples fingers in this conditions; I hope the Parlour tries to fix this issue in future.
