2 /5 Hustla Season: I’ve been going to The Gym Southall for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the most disappointing branches I’ve seen. The place feels stuffy and humid, like the air conditioning hasn’t worked properly in years. You walk in and it already feels like you’re training in someone’s basement.
It’s also way too crowded all the time. They’ve clearly taken on more members than the space can handle, so you end up waiting for machines or benches half your session.
The equipment’s limited and outdated. No incline or decline chest machines, only one Smith machine, and a setup that feels more like a budget community gym than part of a national chain. The whole place needs a serious renovation.
Lack of gym etiquette kills the vibe. Some members just stare at you nonstop while you’re working out — no sense of space or respect. Others hog machines, scroll on their phones, or act like they own the place. It’s uncomfortable and distracting. You’ve got kids vaping in the changing rooms, which just sums up the atmosphere — no discipline, no management. Even the lockers barely work; half of them don’t close properly, so you end up carrying your bag around the gym or just leave it in there hoping you don’t get robbed.
The only positive thing here is the personal trainers — they’re friendly, helpful, and genuinely try to make the best out of a bad situation. Shoutout Leon.
If you’re serious about fitness, avoid this branch. Poor ventilation, overcrowded space, weird gym culture, and broken facilities — it’s just not worth the frustration. The Gym Southall has potential, but it needs a complete reset before it can call itself a proper place to train.
