3 /5 Neale Georgina “George”: First time coming to this gym. Be aware that they lock the changing rooms between 1-3 am so if youre a late evening early morning gym person lock your bag in the lockers on gym floor so you can assess it after your workout. I had to wait an hour and half for someone to come unlock the door just so I can get my own belongings to leave the building safely. Noone in the gym or online when signing up says that they do this otherwise I would have used the floor lockers. I think they need to make people more aware of the restrictions amd guidelines of the gym when no staff are here. On the plus side when I pressed the call button (multiple round the site) it was answered very quickly, but not helpful. Just told me I have to sit and wait or find the cleaners (who are behind locked doors).

3 /5 Nathan Wallace: Decent gym that does the job. Machines and weights will let you hit every muscle group you need. Some of the grips are quite old and worn down so it would be nice if they could be replaced! The blue floor looks very clinical and makes the place look worse than it is. Overall, if you ignore that, its a very efficient and cost effective gym.

2 /5 Gemma Jones: The reviews here, bar some, see the surface of the gym: The great staff and the kit that is available. As you dig deeper the issues becomes more apparent. The equipment is often broken and dirty and the general cleanliness of the gym tarnishes what could otherwise be a great gym. When you are stretching upstairs and what looks like a combination of hair and dust rolls by, you begin to wonder if they ever clean the floors. Some of the newer gyms in Basingstoke wipe the floors with this place now. The Gym Group needs to spend a bit of money on this place as some of the newer Gym Group gyms are a million times better.

4 /5 Stephen Coulston: Losing a star because another member, the very first I met on my very first visit, was possibly the grumpiest person in the world is probably unfair on the gym because other than that it was really great. However, its a hard step taking that first visit to a gym, it would be easily derailed by someone like Mr attitude almighty. But that aside Im really glad I joined, it was a good choice.
