1 /5 Farima Sharma: I visited Madalina for a top up nano blading on my eyebrows a month ago, and when she showed me the mirror to look at the end result, my heart sank and I felt completely sick! This was my second visit to see Madalina who had done a great job less than a year prior. This visit was only for a top up however Madalina chose to use her own judgement and not only did she bring the inner eyebrows closer to the nose, but she thickened them both (one more than the other) without my agreement. I wanted to cry when I left her and was kicking myself as to why I hadn’t given her feedback there and then.
When I arrived home to take a look, I literally burst into tears. I therefore raised my concerns with Madalina with photos of her previous work vs her current work (shown in photo below) to show her the obvious differences, however she refused to acknowledge or take any responsibility for her work and told me not to worry and that it would shrink within 4 weeks. It is now over 4 weeks later and I still can’t bear to look at my eyebrows and have been wearing a cap to cover it up as best as possible as they are so bad. Today my beautician literally asked me what I had done to my eyebrows without me even mentioning I had them treated and still Madalina refuses to take any responsibility or accountability. In fact she said to me that ‘you can’t compare a nurse’s work to a doctor’ meaning she is the doctor and my beautician obviously doesn’t know what she’s talking about and ‘I sleep well at night!’ I am beyond shocked not only at Madalina’s work but her aftercare and service. Not only has she refused a refund for her horrific work but she has not even apologised. She clearly believes she is the expert and that everyone else is blind! BE WARNED This woman does not produce good work and if she messes up your eyebrows will refer you to the terms of which you signed at the start saying you will not receive a refund! Absolute disgrace. DO NOT USE SPLENDOUR AESTHETICS or MADALINA unless you want caterpillars above your eyes! Photos attached. Bottom photo is what my eyebrows look like now.
I am now over a year on and have spent a fortune trying to get my eyebrows lasered and remove the tattoo. It is still very dark and I’ll need several more treatments before I’ve removed all the tattoo. It’s so upsetting!
