Oh dear what a terrible response, as much as it pains me to waste any more time on this whole nail situation I just want to add some clarity.
If you are running a business and someone is unhappy with the service you provide you should not blame the customers you should look for a resolve.
I was not unreasonable my nails chipped after 48 hours not just one but four!!!
This has never happened to me when I’ve had my nails done elsewhere.
I came into your salon and while I was waiting and the staff were busy I was asked across the whole room what was wrong. I explained what had happened and the first response was “ Well you will have come back after 5 o’clock” This was not possible as I had other things to do, so I said “I cannot come back but if you give me my money back I will go someone else and I haven’t got time to keep coming back everytime they chip. The girl that worked there asked to look at them and said they looked beautiful, I think she was being sarcastic as they looked far from beautiful.
SHE then told me to show the other customers my nails to which my response was “ Well that’s embarrassing I’m sure they don’t want to get involved and also see how bad they are.”
So please do not blame me for your poor service and attitude. You have mistaken assertiveness for aggression, if someone takes my money and refuses to give it back when I am not happy then it is going to cause upset. If we were able to pay by card instead of cash I would have been protected under the Visa dispute process so maybe that’s something to think about.
I was then told to never come back into the salon to which I replied “ Don’t worry there’s not chance of that” I did get £35 of my £38 back but first I was offered £12, then £20 and then got £35 only after me insisting but to be honest the whole thing was shocking!!!!

A 1 is too good a score for this terrible place!!! I went to shape and polish for the first time to have my nails done as it was a convenient place to go. They cost £38 for and infill and polish, within 48 hours four of them had chipped and after a few more days they were peeling off. I went back to S&P and asked for my money back as they normally last 4 weeks. They told me they don’t give refunds and I would have to come back later. To cut a very long drawn out story short, they said they thought they looked beautiful even though half of the gel was missing!!!
They also offered to give me £12 but said they have to take my nails off when they hadn’t even put them on. They are rude, the nails are shockingly bad and they should be shut down, if you’re looking for a nail salon I suggest you do not use them and go ANYWHERE else. I hope this helps anyone thinking of going there!
