1 /5 Billy: I had a very disappointing experience here. I booked a manicure appointment the day before with a specific female nail technician. There were only two female technicians available that day, so I carefully selected one through the booking system.
About 20 minutes before my appointment, the salon called to postpone it by 50 minutes due to staff train delays. I explained that I had another appointment and could only come for a quick polish removal instead, planning to return on Monday for the manicure.
When I arrived, I saw both female nail technicians working with other customers, and I was asked to return 15 minutes later. When I came back, there were now two male technicians available, which made the explanation about the train delay seem inconsistent.
The polish removal was rushed and incomplete, leaving traces of red nail polish around my nails. The quick trim was also done unprofessionally, with uneven lengths and rough edges. I was then unexpectedly asked to pay for what they considered a “service,” even though my original booking was not fulfilled.
I understand transport disruptions can happen, but I wish the salon had communicated more honestly and handled the situation with more care and professionalism. I will avoid this place in the future, as the quality of service feels random — you only get good service if you’re lucky.
