1 /5 Lydia Harris: Sadly, I wasn’t impressed with the haircut I received on Friday evening. My appointment was at 6, and by 6:20 it was already finished, which felt very rushed. I have fine, frizzy hair and made it clear several times that I didn’t want it thinned, yet my fringe was razored, leaving it unmanageable, difficult to style, and frankly, looking ridiculous. My fringe is now spiky and just looks odd! No products were used to tame frizz, no consideration was given to what might actually suit my face shape or hair type, and the styling was minimal - just a quick blast with the hairdryer even though Id booked in for a cut, wash and blow-dry.
Overall, the experience felt lethargic and lacked the creative input and care I would expect, especially for hair like mine that needs a bit more attention. I left feeling very self-conscious (still do!) and disappointed, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I also felt obliged to leave a tip, but given the rushed and careless service, it didn’t feel deserved.
