I had a massage at Radiance London after reading about them in Time Out and was really looking forward to it, but the experience was a bit mixed.
I arrived early, hoping to wait inside, but the door was locked. The receptionist said my therapist was out for lunch (it was 3:40 PM) and asked me to come back. When I returned ten minutes later, no one was there — the receptionist was outside smoking, which felt unprofessional.
My therapist was lovely and professional, but the 90-minute session ended up being about 75–80 minutes of actual massage time. I’d booked the Bamboo Tension Relief treatment and asked for medium to deep pressure. It started quite light, and even after I asked for more pressure, it stayed inconsistent — some areas too light, others closer to what I’d requested.
The massage was relaxing, but my muscle knots remain. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but between the front-of-house interaction and shortened treatment time, I probably wouldn’t return.
