1 /5 karanbir verma: Dear PureGym Hayes, What’s the point of being the largest gym chain in the UK if you haven’t upgraded any major exercise machines since opening in 2019? Year after year, the same core equipment is either outdated or constantly out of order — leg press, leg extension, and other key machines seem to spend more time broken than usable. For a gym that markets itself on accessibility and quality, this level of neglect is honestly embarrassing. Members are paying full price for half-functional facilities. If maintaining and upgrading essential equipment isn’t a priority, then maybe the branding needs to be more honest — because right now, the reality inside this gym doesn’t match the reputation PureGym claims to have. To top it all off, the entrance regularly smells like a dead animal — not exactly the welcome you’d expect walking into a “premium” fitness chain. Do better.

1 /5 D Mckane: Seeming as Im being ignored over email, and I came to the gym just now so I can speak to someone in person knocked on the office door 3 times and NO ONE was there, and no one to be seen??? So unfortunately have no choice but to write it here. Wouldnt recommend this gym at all!!! The air conditioning is non existent and is basically a sauna. Very smelly too, especially due to the lack of ventilation and toilets r vile. Ive cancelled my membership due to these reasons as when I first signed up a year ago, I got a ringworm on my face within 1 week of attending this gym so had to take extra precautions on my side. Ive cancelled my membership and now Ive gotten an email saying Ill be getting charged £13.35 pcm onwards when lve literally cancelled and no one is responding to me. So I would appreciate a response as this is genuinely shocking.

5 /5 Sam: The gym is really busy and can be overwhelming at times, but want to mention the Manpret (apologies, may have incorrect spelling) as a trainer really stands out. Her classes are full of energy, well-paced, and you can tell she genuinely wants everyone to reach their goals. She’s always supportive and puts in a lot of effort, shows professionalism that often you dont often seein gyms today. Even when the gym is hectic, you see her running around to ensure the place is clean and organised. A great addition to the PureGym family!

5 /5 Sandy Sandhu: PureGym is genuinely impressive, especially considering how long it’s been open and how many members use the facilities every day. Despite the high footfall, the equipment is kept in great condition and there’s everything you need to hit your fitness goals. I’ve had consistently good training sessions here. The management team and staff are professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The managers in particular are so approachable and supportive—you really feel like they care about the members and the gym experience. I’ve even seen them stepping in to tidy up and clean when members leave equipment out, which shows how committed they are. Overall, it’s a great gym with a hardworking team who keep everything running smoothly. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Zenab Tawfik: It was 5 months ago when my health and fitness journey started and my life changed for the better. My first day at the gym I attended the evening Aerobics class with Felix. It is with great thanks to him that my life changed drastically since in the most positive way. I started taking personal training sessions with him weekly. My lifestyle, my body and mind is so much stronger, healthier and I have since lost 4 dress sizes all whilst toning and conditioning my body. He has mentored me, guided me, supported me and most of all he belived that I could achieve what I have achieved. He possesses a depth of knowledge that simply cannot be quantified and he tailors each and every session based on how I feel that day! He puts his passion into every class and session he does. When you leave his class you feel reborn! When Im at the gym he is always tidying up, he always cleans the apparatus I will use and he always goes above and beyond. Felix is an asset to pure gym and I hope his dedication and contributions are recognised and awarded greatly. I am sure he has positively impacted the lives of many others in Hayes the same way he has mine. I am forever thankful and in debt to him and I highly recommend him as your PT if you want to change your health for the better. THANK YOU FELIX!!!!
