5 /5 Katie Calder: Held my childs 6th birthday party here and have also attended a kids party as a guest here. It is a really chilled and easy party, that I would choose again!
Staff in the bar/cafe areas are on hand to help, but didnt really get involved much unless asked a question. This was fine for us, but dont expect a party host kind of thing. Its a DIY feeling.
The coach who took the kids to play football almost was great though. Talkative and confident, enthusiastic and genuinely seemed to enjoy the session which meant the kids were getting well involved.
We went for the catered option, which was good value. They basically ordered in pizza and chicken from a local pizza takeaway. If I was to do it again, I would request specific pizza flavours as there was a mix and the kids really just wanted margarita or pepperoni. I wasnt asked when booking, but Im sure theyd take it on board if I had asked.
Other people have not selected catered option, and have just collected food from McDonalds or Pizza Hut which are local. This is a great option as children can choose the food when they arrive, then someone goes to collect while the kids play football, but takes a bit more planning in terms of timings.
The kids really enjoyed themselves - Id suggest maybe having a longer option. My kids would happily have played for 2 hours, then eaten. So some other options would be great if possible.
