Daniel Toeuk Great place to climb. Staff are all super friendly, and the whole place is also very clean. I love the very relaxed atmosphere, and I really like the fact that they are constantly posting updates/videos on social media. It makes it much easier to get info on upcoming events and stay connected. I really enjoy the routes set here, I find them softer than some places but not too soft, it has helped me to gain the confidence to climb more difficult routes and allows me to challenge myself without making me feel like its impossible. There are also a lot of free workshops (members free, non member £25 I think) which is great for improving skills and meeting new people. I find City bouldering does cost a little more than other places but when you take into consideration the location, facilities, free workshops/classes (for members) and high levels of customer service provided I feel that it is more than worth it. I have been to many bouldering locations, and I would rank this place within the top 5 best places to climb in London (funny enough, their Aldgate location is also within my top 5). Quick update, proper heaters have been installed recently and has made a huge difference, as I used to find climbing here in the winter difficult. So a very welcome addition to the gym.

Joshua Lyons Gymnation is a phenomenon! It has all of the equipment, expertise and enthusiasm for a powerlifting gym but none of the ego. I’ve been using and working in gyms for over 25 years and this place is a real rarity. It’s so far from the usual, intimidating lad culture so present in facilities like this. You simply don’t get this huge variety of demographic and all the functionality of a lifting gym in one place. Well done all of the team! Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable all the way from the top down. Keep it up Gymnation!

Hassan Hamid Amazing gym, very cheap and requires no membership commitments. Cancel anytime, really good high quality gym stuff. Lovely colours always clean. Does need a protein shake Station. But the best place to work out.

Sourced Only reason im giving it 2 stars is because their water from the fountain is nice and have decent air conditioning. Cons: theres people doing number 1s in the pool, the changing room floors are muddy and dirty, the doors to change are all broken, you need to pay 20p to use the lockers which is inconvenient who carries 20p on them these days, the mens health suite is very overcrowded, the gym is okay at quiet times but when it gets busy, the smell in there is like walkers cheese&onion. Theres a person named yg in there and hes just speaking to girls more than working out.
