Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Grappling with people of all levels has been a great experience — everyone trains hard but respects each other, which makes a big difference. Dr Mark has a really down-to-earth approach to teaching BJJ. No ego, no nonsense — just solid coaching and clear guidance. I’ve learned a lot in a short time and always look forward to the next session. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that’s both serious about training and genuinely supportive.

It is rare to find an instructor with the level of expertise that Mark Phillips brings to the mat—he has been a black belt for at least 14 years now , and that depth of experience is evident in every session. The technical knowledge is world-class, yet the atmosphere remains incredibly welcoming with a great vibe among the students.
