5 /5 Luca Cappalonga: I have been training at Mavericks for a few years now and the only regret I have is not joining earlier. The coaches are amazing including Nick Fielding, Higo Gomez both being black belts at BJJ and Henry Grimble to help with your wrestling game. Not only do they help you become a better fighter, but they also treat everyone with respect and make you feel welcome to be there. It is a great place to build up your confidence, your goals (if you are looking to fight or just train), build up your fitness and make friends. The social aspect is great, everyone at the club is very friendly with no egos and are willing to help, making you feel part of the Mavericks family.
I have improved massively since joining a few years ago and have even competed in 2x K1 fights and in jiu jitsu. This had made me more motivated in my everyday life and no matter what age you are, it is never too late to start.
I would highly recommend coming to a class to try it out and I’m sure you will be hooked from there.
