1 /5 Cathy Kearney: I booked a lash lift ahead of my holiday as the reviews looked good and had been recommended by a few people to their lash tech who has since left. I was told the new lash technician was away, but that a beauty technician named Nicola could do the treatment instead and was just as good. When I arrived, I don’t believe it was the same person I was told about.
During the appointment, the technician seemed confident when discussing the curl options, and I trusted her judgement. However, once the treatment was finished, I immediately noticed that some of my lashes in the inner corner were folded inward and clumped. When I asked if this was normal, I was told to just brush them back into place and they’d settle.
Once I got home and looked more closely, I realised my lashes were actually frazzled and damaged not only on the outer corners but across and some of my lower lashes had even been caught in the lift. I’ve now spent over a week trying to repair and nourish them, but they still look brittle and uneven.
Overall, I’m very unhappy with the result. My lashes are damaged, the experience felt unprofessional, and I definitely would not return
