Cristiana Filipa This gym is absolutely amazing! The facilities are top-notch, the staff are always friendly and supportive, and the prices are very affordable compared to other places in London. Honestly, I think it’s the best gym in the city — highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to train! A special mention to Lucy, my personal trainer — she’s incredible! She motivates me so much and has a unique style of training that I’ve never experienced before. Also, Lauren is always so sweet and helpful, which makes coming here even better.

Michaela Hughes Oscar and Sam are incredible! I joined with my fiancé Ed after we had put on a lot of weight and hadn’t exercised properly for a LONG time! We were nervous at first but Oscar and Sam were there to support us every step of the way. Our fitness improved immediately and we lost over 3 stone between us on the 8 week challenge! Amazing recipes and varied workouts made us actually enjoy it! That is honestly something we thought we would never say! Highly recommend!

Catriona Sinclair In London for only a few weeks and I am thrilled to have found such a friendly, fully equipped gym with all the facilities I could want. There is even a women’s only section (my first experience of this) and the atmosphere is great with loads of equipment, well-ordered and maintained, including saunas and a calm stretching environment. Super clean and great staff. Special mention to Aaron – the friendliest manager ever!

Pippa Mat Pilates | SE London - 155 Walworth Rd

Charlotte Cassedanne Pippa is the reason I get up with a spring in my step every Monday on my way to her class. She is very friendly, gives clear instructions with options to make each pilates exercise more challenging (or not). Her classes are accessible, fun and provide a good mind/body workout without being strenuous. I love the Portuguese music in the background too!

Prachi Priyadarshini When I started I was quite pleased with it. My induction class was good, I tried a few spin classes and they were fun too. Some of the PTs seemed friendly which is a bonus. The bathrooms and changing rooms are also kept clean. However, in the past few months I’ve noticed the services decline. A few weeks ago the AC was not working and it felt like working out in a sauna, it felt like there was no ventilation which felt like an awful thing during peak time when it was packed with people. That took a couple of days to get fixed. Recently, the gym was flooded in certain areas, and they eventually closed the gym again to fix it. It’s now been 7 days of the gym being closed… it wasn’t a planned closure which was communicated ahead of time. The fact that we have to still pay full while a fourth or more of the month the gym isn’t even open is not okay. Many of these factors completely disrupt my fitness routine and the basic quality of gym service you should be getting. Allowing access to other gyms while this one is shut down for days is still inconvenient because not all of us can accommodate that. The gym is also not 24/7 which a lot of others pointed out too and that makes it difficult because you have to plan your day around the gym rather than the other way around. Overall I echo other reviewers sentiments on school-going / younger groups of kids sitting idly on machines and chatting with friends for 30 mins. If you ask some of them how many sets they have left, you usually have to wait for the whole group to be done. Some people look offended if you ask them how many sets they have left even when they’ve just been sitting and scrolling on their phones and not using the machine. I’ve also had a run-in with a rude trainer recently but I can’t say that they’re all the same - I’ve had some good initial conversations with Frank and Leyla and if you look at the other reviews you’ll figure that it’s only the good PTs and decent equipment keeping this gym alive.
