1 /5 Deena Abdelkhaleq: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Vauxhall branch. I had previously visited when Laura worked there and had a great experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite.
Upon arrival, I was offered a black coffee, which was served in a dirty mug covered in stains and lipstick marks, absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. When I asked for another, Tanisha at reception kindly helped, but the damage to my first impression was already done.
My haircut, done by stylist Charanjot, was a disaster. I explained very clearly that I wanted long layers with face-framing pieces that were blended and for my hair to sit just above my chest. Instead, it was cut too short, uneven, and choppy, the complete opposite of what I asked for. I even mentioned that I had a bad experience before with hair being cut too short and was anxious about it happening again. Despite this, it did. When I asked him to fix it, he made it even shorter, to the point where I had to tell him to stop.
Even the blow dry looked frizzy and unprofessional, nothing like a salon finish. Tanisha kindly checked my hair afterwards and agreed it wasn’t right, even pointing out that my curly hair should have been blow-dried before cutting, which confirmed that the service was not to a professional standard.
To make matters worse, their customer service team ignored me for months after I sent a detailed complaint with photos. They only responded and processed a refund today, 10/10/2025, after I said I would contact a relevant department about the dirty mug.
The customer service team is useless, and sadly, the staff in this branch do not meet basic hygiene or professional standards. I spent £57 and left nearly in tears, with my confidence completely shattered.
Do not go there. Save your time, money, and hair there are far better salons that actually care about their customers and uphold hygiene standards.
