1 /5 Mansoureh Bidar: My experience at this salon was terrible. I went in to have my gel polish replaced, and from the very beginning the technician was extremely careless with the electric file. Even after I warned her, she repeatedly filed into my natural nail to the point where my thumbnail actually bled. Then, when using the manual file, she scraped the skin on my finger and caused another cut.
What was even more unusual was that after every layer of gel or base coat, she would file again. The whole process felt like a nightmare — I just wanted it to finish so I could leave. In the end, after applying the builder gel and gel polish, the surface of my nails was so uneven and bumpy that it looked like rough terrain. Despite all this, they charged me £40 for such poor service.
I have been getting nail services for nearly 20 years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I recently moved from Colchester to Redhill and chose this salon based on customer reviews, but I regret going there and will never return.
