I booked a £35 full leg wax, but when I arrived I was told my hair was too short for the treatment — something I’ve never had an issue with at other salons, even with the same length. I decided to trust their judgment and agreed to reschedule. Initially, the beautician mentioned a refund might be possible, but after talking with her boss, I was told they don’t issue refunds and could only rebook me.
I rearranged for two weeks later, even though it was slightly inconvenient as I was going on holiday. On the day of the appointment, I received a message an hour beforehand explaining that the beautician had a last-minute emergency and wouldn’t be coming in, but that they’d be in touch to reschedule later that day. I completely understood — things happen — but it’s now been over a week with no follow-up, no new appointment, and no refund.
It’s a real shame, because I had such high expectations based on their reviews. I had hoped for a relaxing and professional experience, but instead it’s been quite stressful and disappointing. And genuinely I’ve just felt cheated and scammed off my money by this establishment.
