1 /5 E T: I’ve been very disappointed with my experience at Isleworth Leisure Centre. The general cleanliness is extremely poor — the changing rooms are always dirty and in a state that suggests they are not cleaned regularly, if at all. This creates a really unpleasant environment for customers.
On top of that, the customer service is generally unhelpful. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone, and in-person support is often dismissive or uninterested.
One of the most frustrating aspects is the class booking system. If you miss a class without cancelling, your card is blocked — which is fair enough. However, the system still lets you pay for future classes without actually unblocking your card. So you arrive thinking everything is fine, only to find your card still doesn’t work and youre forced to pay again for the previous missed session. Essentially, you’re charged twice. That’s both poor system design and unfair to customers.
Given the poor standards of hygiene and unreliable service, this kind of policy just adds insult to injury. I’d seriously urge management to review both their facilities and their booking/payment processes.
