1 /5 Maddy Hughes: Don’t use this salon. Recently attended for a cut and blow dry, came away with an extremely uneven haircut and choppy layers. I now need to get this fixed by a different stylist and was given no refund, as is the salon’s policy.

1 /5 Siro: I’ve never had such a stressful and upsetting experience with any salon. The staff were unprofessional, rude, and completely lacking in basic customer service skills. When an appointment issue came up, they demanded full payment for appointments that couldn’t be attended or rescheduled and responded with hostility and threats. There was no clear cancellation policy, no flexibility, and no respect for customers. The atmosphere is negative and intimidating, and the entire experience left me shaken, deeply disappointed, and in tears on a very important day. I want to make it clear that I do not wish to be contacted by anyone from this business. Should they attempt to harass me after seeing this review, I will file a police complaint. I have already blocked the number associated with the staff member involved. A business that treats clients this way should not be operating in the service industry. I strongly recommend avoiding this salon at all costs if you value professionalism, empathy, and basic decency!!!

5 /5 Olivia Leigh: The only place I’d go for my nails – they are consistently fantastic. The quality, attention to detail and overall finish are always perfect. The team is lovely, professional and genuinely cares about their work. Highly recommend!

1 /5 ND: I recently visited Halo Hair and Beauty as it’s just 5 minutes away from my place. I wanted to book an appointment after 7:30 PM since I had dinner plans, but they said they had no availability. I therefore booked a 4:45 PM slot just for eyebrow and upper lip waxing. I value punctuality, so I arrived 5 minutes early. Despite the salon being almost empty, I was only called in at 5 PM — which I still let pass. When I mentioned waxing, the staff member seemed unsure, so I said I was fine with either waxing or threading, whichever she was comfortable with. She proceeded without much explanation. When I paid £22, I didn’t mind the price, but later that evening I noticed a burning sensation on my upper lip. Upon washing my face, I saw a small wound, which I ignored at first as I had to rush for dinner. However, the next day I noticed a visible scar — a patch of skin had peeled off (attached photo). I’m very disappointed with the service quality. For the price charged, I expected professional care and better attention, especially considering my sensitive skin. Now I’m left worrying about how long this scar will take to heal. I wouldn’t recommend this place — overpriced and careless service.
