1 /5 Alice J: My usual salon was closed and I made such a mistake in coming here. Firstly, the nail tech didn’t seem to know what he was doing and when using a filing machine (usually I have hand filing) made four of my fingers bleed. They were so sore I had to be really careful what I touched for a week after! The guy running the nail bar offered a discount of £5 but really I should have just walked out as soon as I saw what he’d done to my fingers. Usually gel nails last for weeks for me but these chipped after 2 days and now all look terrible. I’m a mum with a young baby and getting nails done with hour out the house is such a treat and rare opportunity, I was absolutely gutted that this happened. Would give 0 stars if possible.

1 /5 Jessie Mclain: Be careful when paying at this nail salon. When I first walked in, I said I would pay by card and she agreed, but when it was time to pay, she suddenly told me to pay by cash or bank transfer. At that time, I was embarrassed because I didnt have cash with me and only wanted to pay by card. But when she looked to the side, her expression suddenly became very scary, so I transferred the money so I could leave. She even looked at my phone as if checking what I was doing. When I got home, I told my friend. She asked which salon it was, and I said it was the one across from her cafe. She joked with me that the other day there was an old man doing her nails, he had a smile almost like a monkey, his hands moved quite fast but not very effectively. Then a younger man came in to finish the job, and she felt more comfortable. She also wondered why men were doing a job that was usually considered a womans job.
