1 /5 Queen Bee: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Appalling service and unacceptable treatment – will never return
I visited Glow Nails last Thursday and paid £30 for my nails. The result is absolutely appalling. I didn’t realise just how bad the work was until I got home and put my glasses on. The finish is uneven, messy, and looks completely unprofessional. I am genuinely upset, especially as this is so close to Christmas — no one should be paying £30 to have nails that look like this.
Lisa, who did my nails, was friendly on the surface, so this is not personal. However, the quality of her work is unacceptable and falls far below a professional standard.
What made the experience worse was how I was treated when it came to payment. Despite being a returning customer (this was my fifth visit), I was made to stand there and complete a bank transfer in front of her, as if there was an assumption that I wouldn’t pay. I found this humiliating and completely inappropriate.
To make matters worse, I even went out of my way to support their new restaurant next door and spent money there out of goodwill.
I will not be returning to have my nails redone. Based on the attitude I experienced, I fully expect that doing so would result in hostility rather than a professional resolution. This was my fifth visit, but it will absolutely be my last. I will not be returning and I cannot recommend this salon to others.
