I went to Glam by Mun and showed the nail tech a clear inspo photo (see first image). That was the exact shape and design I asked for. I chose a different colour myself, so ignore that — but focus on the workmanship and final outcome in the second image, which is what I got.
I paid £45, including extra for nail art, but once I was in the chair, I was told she couldn’t do the design I asked for. That should’ve been made clear before payment. I had to settle for a French tip instead, and even that was done poorly — the shape was off, the red tips were uneven, and the finish looked rushed and messy.
I was so unhappy with how they turned out that I left and immediately went to Beauty K & L Nails Spa, which is literally a 2-minute walk away. They removed the nails and gave me a beautiful, clean set that actually matched the inspo I originally showed.
Beauty K & L is a much better option — they’re professional, skilled, and actually deliver what you ask for. If you’re thinking about going to Glam by Mun, do yourself a favour and just walk a bit further.
