As soon as I walked through the doors on induction I was greeted by one of the owners who immediately showed my the gym, the facilities and made me feel welcomed and at ease. From that moment on I knew this was the gym for me. Offering convenience/ affordability & a fantastic training environment there is nothing the gym cannot provide. All the team are incredibly friendly and motivating, thank you to all at The Rig for making an environment no other gym provides!

After fracturing my shoulder earlier this year, I never thought I’d regain full movement but with Glenn’s expertise, patience, and encouragement, my shoulder and arm now feel strong and free again. He created custom exercises tailored to my recovery, which made all the difference. I’m so grateful for his guidance and support through every step of the journey. Highly recommend!
Millie Melvin I’m a keen runner and hiker who started to get knee pain which was really uncomfortable on my hikes downhill. I was diagnosed with patella tendonitis from a physio. Frustratingly the advice I had received was to avoid exercise or complete rest, but my knee wasn’t improving. This is when I realised I needed some strength and conditioning training and reached out to perma performance.
I was unsure whether I would feel prepared for an upcoming hike up Acatenango and my 4 day hike to machu picchu. However both Jamie and Lewis put together a plan in conjunction with a physio they recommended, which helped enormously - not only in terms of comfort, but in terms of my general fitness and building confidence back in my ability to perform activities I enjoy.
Both Jamie and Lewis really helped explain the process and gave me much more knowledge regarding my knee issue than I had before. The clear rationale and explanation of the process was something I hadn’t experienced with others I had seen previously, which made me feel like I wish I had started sooner! I went on to complete both hikes and feel great doing them!
Mina Moussa Specializes in bodybuilding, with world class equipment. Plenty to go around for everybody so the workout flows smoothly. The atmosphere is pleasant ; good gym etiquette and a serious lifters mindset. A big step up from commercial gyms.
Jay B. Venue for the Channel VAS PSA Squash tournament. Great venue, hospitality and organisation. Also home to the St Georges Hill premier league squash team. Well worth a visit during league matches.
