1 /5 BS: I went to Elysium Nail Salon today with my sister and left feeling extremely disappointed and angry. We booked back-to-back appointments through Treatwell — my sister initially booked for Shellac but decided to change to a full acrylic set once we arrived. The man named Michael (with glasses) was incredibly rude from the moment we walked in. He told my sister she couldn’t change her treatment and should’ve chosen the right one before booking. We were shocked — we’ve been loyal customers for over 8 years and have never experienced such rudeness before. The salon was completely empty, yet Michael refused to do her nails, saying it would delay other clients — even though there were no other clients the entire time we were there! Instead, he sat on his phone and folded towels while arguing back and forth with me, which was so unprofessional. I pointed out that they’re usually late with appointments anyway, but he just said, “I can’t do that today, it’s busy.” Busy? There wasn’t a single customer the entire 1.5 hours we were there. It’s obvious something has changed, maybe new management, because the atmosphere and service have gone downhill completely. Martin was the only kind and professional one, but it seems he’s no longer there.
If I could give zero stars, I would. After years of coming here, I’ll never return to Elysium Nail Salon again.
